Mission Statement: EduConnect is dedicated to bridging the digital divide in education by providing free Wi-Fi routers and affordable internet access to children in need. We believe that every child deserves access to the educational resources necessary to succeed, and we're committed to making that a reality, one connection at a time.
Program Overview: EduConnect's program is simple but powerful: we provide each participant with a free TR200 Wi-Fi router and 300GB of internet data for just $175/year. Our goal is to ensure that every student has the connectivity they need to complete their homework, access online learning resources, and reach their full potential.
Target Population: EduConnect serves children in low-income families who do not have reliable access to the internet at home. We partner with schools and non-profit organizations to identify students in need and distribute our routers accordingly.
How it Works:
- Enrollment: Students in need are identified through our partnerships with schools and non-profits and enrolled in the EduConnect program.
- Router Distribution: Each participant receives a free TR200 Wi-Fi router.
- Internet Access: Participants get 300GB of internet data for just $175/year.
- Ongoing Support: We provide ongoing technical support to ensure the routers remain in good working order.
Impact: By providing access to reliable internet, EduConnect helps level the playing field for children in low-income families. Our routers open up a world of educational resources, enabling students to complete their homework, access online learning tools, and explore new interests and passions.
